Whether we realize it or not, we carry our personal history as an energetic signature that stays with us until we clear it. I use the analogy of Pig-pen in the Peanuts cartoon, who walks around in a cloud of dust, except that we walk around in a cloud of our own personal history. And if someone is sensitive enough, they can feel those signatures regardless of how old or new they are. Therefore, whether we’ve experienced something traumatic, got involved with certain activities or people, or had a duration where our attention was focused on a particular subject, this stays within our energetic field. This can also include any experience or encounter we’ve had, seen or unseen, sometimes leaving an indelible energy behind. All these different signatures, over time, can begin to build up and affect us at any level…..physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental. It can often move us away from experiencing our authentic being. Not to mention, it can also affect how we perceive our life at any given moment.
Clearing yourself energetically, then allows you to either release or transform what you have been holding. And because the mind, body, and spirit always seeks it’s innate blueprint, once cleared, it naturally begins to realign with that blueprint. You don’t have to understand intellectually how it happens, you just have to trust that we innately seek to heal (restore balance and wholeness), and allow that innate intelligence to do what it already knows to do.

In the over 15 years that I’ve been helping people with their energy, I’ve consistently observed a fundamental truth that I was initially made aware of during my energy training and have found very interesting since. But, before I go into what this fundamental truth is, know that I too demonstrated the same truth earlier in my training, and at times catch myself doing it still. So, if you find this to ring any bells, know you are not alone in your experience. This fundamental truth, like many things, has both a beneficial and not beneficial side to it, so it’s not necessarily a bad thing. It simply is.
What is this fundamental truth? Simply put, we are extremely adaptive. Unfortunately, however, our adaptive abilities often tend to lean towards the “not beneficial” side. And a big part of this is our exceeding ability to be dismissive about things we are experiencing. Let me give you an example that will hopefully make more sense.
About 10 years or less, before I began my extensive training in a unique tradition of energy healing, I had injured my lower back due to heavy lifting. My lower back had never fully healed, so it would sporadically flare up from time to time. My answer to this was to go see a Chiropractor, that only left me feeling more pain and less range of motion due to that discomfort (please note that I am not saying Chiropractors are useless. The one I happened to go to simply didn’t help.). I then resorted to ibuprofen. But, because I experienced no full relief or recovery, I simply accepted that this would flare up from time to time and I’d simply have to deal with it. It became a normal part of my life. Meaning, I “adapted” to the discomfort, and the adaptation was a dismissiveness of acknowledging that I needed to do something about it. Grant it, at the time, I didn’t see another alternative. So, I lived with the discomfort. Sound familiar?
When I began my training with a person who was highly sensitive, you might call him highly empathic or a seer, he immediately brought it to my attention. I wasn’t aware that I was experiencing any discomfort at that moment, but it was apparently noticeable to a sensitive person who didn’t have this issue. He then proceeded to teach me how to change the recording of the initiating incident and how to move the energy of my body. Although in that moment that we did the exercises I was not aware of feeling any discomfort, I definitely felt a huge relief after the exercises. So, although I adapted to that discomfort, it was apparently very much there, because I felt a noticeable relief afterwards. Since then, that discomfort rarely returned, because the moment I’d feel anything, I’d do something about it and it would completely alleviate. Like that experience, I’ve consistently encountered the same adaptation to discomfort in others, until I bring it to their attention and teach them how to transform it.

Whether we are aware of it or not, our bodies (yes, plural) require energy to function. The more energy we have, the better the body can do what it does best.... repair and correct itself.
Here are 5 natural and easy things you can do to help boost your own energy.
1. Go swimming. A natural setting like a beach, lake, or river would be great. But , if all you have is a pool, that’s great too. Water has a natural attribute. It naturally blocks magnetic signals. What this translates to at the level of the body is that the body finally gets a peaceful space from all the signals. Since energy is not being expended to block those energies, it can be redirected toward health and healing.
2. Go to the beach: Because the ocean naturally contains salt, and often the air there too, this can really help to cleanse our body energetically, as salt has the natural attribute of absorbing negative energy.
3. Waterfalls: waterfalls have an abundance of negative ions that the body uses to function optimally. Get in, or even sit by, a waterfall to get the benefits of these negative ions.

According to Forbes, only about 8% of those who started to focus on their new year's resolution after the 1st of the year, actually follow through to the point of achieving it. If you've experienced a lack of follow through with your new year's resolution, consider these tips to finally achieve it this coming year:
1. Consider hiring a coach. Working with a coach is probably one of the best investments you can make. Why? The important aspects about working with a coach is that they keep you on track. Secondly, they keep you accountable, while helping you to create actionable steps that gradually help you to work your way towards your intent/goal. Not to mention, a coach is there when you are plagued by doubt, to help you move through it, while also celebrating your successes. More often than not, coaches also come from a place of experience, so they’re in a unique position to help you with some of the stumbling blocks along the way. I personally didn’t recognize the value in this until I did it myself 15 years ago, and began working privately in learning energy medicine. It changed my life in ways I could not have even imagined, and what I learned and discovered was priceless. Today, there are coaches available for almost any goal you want to achieve.

1. Clear the Clutter
Whether we realize it or not, clutter in our living spaces is equivalent to blocked energy in the body. It creates stagnant energy where the clutter exists, since those spaces don't see any activity. Our living spaces can be seen as a metaphor for the energy in our body's, when the energy gets stuck or stagnant, it creates discomfort, feeling heavier or thick, and more. In our homes it creates the same thing energetically. So, it actually does help to finally clear that clutter away, clean, and revitalize the space. Not only will you feel better because you finally took care of that pile of stuff, but you'll notice a difference in your living space and in your energy as well.
