Recently, I released an "Intuitive Awareness Journal," with the intent to encourage people to start keeping track of their energetic and intuitive experiences, along with what they did that helped them transform the experience (if energetic), and to document whether they were able to validate what they experienced.
When it comes to intuitive and energy awareness (that to me are practically synonymous), it's important to begin building trust. Trusting what you are perceiving and/or discerning. That's where validation comes in. The more we can validate, the more we begin to build our trust in ourselves, and our ability to intuitively and energetically perceive the world around us. The challenge with validation, however, is that sometimes something may come to your attention in the same day you became aware of something and discerned its source, while at others, it could take days, weeks, or even a year or more. But, if you don't keep track of it, you can't go back to validate it. I once had an experience that took a whole year before I could validate that what I was perceiving and intuiting was totally accurate. It took that long for the information to present itself to me in the physical world.
This is where journaling comes in handy. It allows you to go back and not only see patterns, but to also validate past experiences when possible. It also helps you to begin recognizing in what ways do YOU experience intuitive and energetic experiences.
Intuition and energy awareness comes in so many different ways, and it can differ from one person to another. I was once driving with a person who sat in the passenger seat, who is also a very aware person. I started to experience something uncomfortable that was actually intense enough that it was affecting my ability to drive. I then turned to the person next to me and asked them to please clear themselves. When that person did, I no longer experienced the disturbance. The person, however, was not initially aware of what was happening, that I was energetically picking up. This then prompted a discussion during our long drive about the different ways we each experience awareness of energy.
Ultimately, when we begin to recognize how we experience intuitive insights and awareness of energetic incoming information, and we can validate what we discerned, we begin to become more confident. This helps with subsequent experiences, because it’s so important to be able to trust in what you are perceiving and feel confident that you can.
If you’d like to begin journaling your experiences and validating them, here’s a journal that can help:
